NEW YORK, NY, June 20, 2000 - L-3 Communications (NYSE:LLL) today announced that
James W. Dunn has been named president of its Link Simulation and Training division,
based in Arlington, Texas and Binghamton, New York.
With over 30 years of experience in engineering and management, Mr. Dunn, age 56,
was most recently president of Lockheed Martin Tactical Defense Systems, a position he
held since March 1999. Prior to that, Mr. Dunn was president of Lockheed Martin Defense
Systems Group and Lockheed Martin Fairchild Systems, formerly Loral Fairchild Systems.
During his 13-year tenure with the Loral Corporation, Mr. Dunn held a variety of
leadership positions in engineering and program management.
A graduate of the New Jersey Technical Institute with a Bachelor of Science degree
in electrical engineering, Mr. Dunn also earned Masters of Business Administration and
Masters of Electrical Engineering degrees from New York University.
