Republic of Korea Air Force maintenance personnel today are honing their skills on three F-16C Block 52D maintenance trainers built by Link Simulation & Training.

This suite of maintenance trainers is enabling personnel to perform operational checkouts and troubleshoot major F-16C Block 52D aircraft subsystems. These aircraft subsystems include fire control and armament; flight control and instruments; and communications, navigation and electronic countermeasures avionics systems.

Combined, the three F-16C Block 52D maintenance trainers provide 305 tasks for maintenance personnel to perform on the aircraft's subsystems.

All of the F-16C Block 52D maintenance trainers consist of a spatially accurate, high fidelity cockpit; a flat panel that displays two and three-dimensional simulations; and an interactive video station for student or instructor interface.
