Arlington, Texas is the headquarters for Link Simulation & Training. At this
location -- which employs approximately 750 people -- major activities include
software and systems development, visual systems design, advanced simulation
technology development and training systems support within domestic and international
military training.
Some
key initiatives being worked from Arlington include the U.S. Air
Force F/A-22 pilot training device and maintenance training device
program, U.S. Navy F/A-18 simulator programs and Air Force F-16
pilot and maintenance trainer programs. In addition, Arlington is
also home to the U.S. Army's Aviation Combined Arms Tactical Trainer
- Aviation Reconfigurable Manned Simulator program.
Link's sweeping range of training services in the development,
operation and support of training programs also is overseen from
Arlington. These services include aircrew training systems operations
and management, instructional systems development, web-based training,
technical support services, distance learning, and research support
and engineering. In all, Link has approximately 1,300 technical
staff providing training services at military installations around
the world.

located between Dallas and Fort Worth, only minutes from Dallas/Fort Worth International
Airport. Today a city of nearly 280,000, Arlington is part of a larger metroplex area that
has over 4,000,000 people.

in fact, Arlington lays claim to the Texas Rangers baseball team and Six Flags Over Texas
