AMI is a world-leading supplier of flight simulation
cockpit subsystems.
AMI's simulated product line includes:
- Avionics
- Displays
- Instruments
- Cockpit Assemblies
- Sub Assemblies
- Equipment Cabinet Assemblies
Avionics
Today, AMI designs and produces simulated avionics that
are used on simulators and trainers for commercial transport
aircraft and a wide range of fixed and rotary wing military
aircraft.
AMI has a wide range of experience in building simulated
avionics for aircraft systems including autopilot mode control
panels, radios and other cockpit components for commercial
and military training devices.
Displays
AMI's simulated display product range includes Active Matrix
Liquid Crystal Display (AMLCDs) and other alphanumeric displays.
AMI's advanced simulated ARINC 'D' size AMLCDs are designed
to replace actual aircraft display equipment. Customers
enjoy significant initial, maintenance and repair costs
savings using AMI's simulated AMCLDs in place of actual
aircraft displays.
Instruments
AMI offers a full range of simulated instruments. This
ranges from simple gauges to highly complex, multiple drive,
multi-pointer indicators and tape type displays. Instruments
are produced with night vision imaging system (NVIS) or
conventional lighting.
Cockpit Assemblies
For some of the leading military aircraft, AMI produces
cockpit assemblies, complete with all systems and equipment
installed, wired, tested and ready for integration with
simulator operating systems.
Cockpits produced to in-house designs support ease of access
for maintenance and other features that enhance operational
performance. AMI also produces power, input/output, motion
control, simulator interface cabinets, cables and wiring.
Total Commitment
AMI's goal is to produce first class cockpit assemblies
and components that fully meet or exceed customer expectations.
We maintain engineering and manufacturing capabilities that
enable AMI to live up to this important customer commitment.
Because we know how important ongoing service is in ensuring
reliable simulator performance, AMI is staffed to provide
long-term technical support, maintenance and repair services
for our complete product line.
Simulated Major Assemblies
AMI is producing complete cockpit hardware systems, I/O and
power distribution cabinets. Cockpit hardware systems -- which
AMI installs, wires, tests and prepares for customer integration
-- include all instruments, panels, engine and flight controls,
seats and peripheral equipment. Cockpit hardware systems are
being produced to AMI and customer designs (build to print).
Simulated Instruments
Instruments are being produced for a wide range of simulators
and training devices from submarine to commercial transport
aircraft. Instruments from single to multi-pointer, tape
and digital displays are being produced to meet requirements
for a range of equipment from low-level training devices
to full flight simulators.
Simulated Displays
Displays from fully simulated B737- ADV/B777 displays to
alphanumeric indicators are being produced. The B737/B777
displays are form, fit and function compatible with the
aircraft unit and appropriately labeled for ground trainer
use only.
